A golf swing plane training device that is adjustable
for every club in your bag (other than the putter), can
be used with left and right handers, has TWO swing
planes, can be assembled by yourself and made in
Australia. This has never been done before.
A golfer's swing plane is the fundamental of a good golf
swing and great golf stroke. Until now, many swing plane
training devices have been "flat", clumsy to use and may
even promote a bad swing. The reason is that inferior
devices promote a single plane golf swing that is
virtually impossible to replicate once your out there
enjoying your game. Until now...
How many swing planes
are there for each golf club in your bag?
There are two swing planes per club, an initial take
away angle that is equal to you club’s lie-angle and
then an almost vertical rise when you cock your wrists
around the horizontal position of your back-swing.
Generally, every club in your bag has a different
lie-angle and your swing plane will also vary. This
lie-angle of each club determines the first half of your
swing plane. See the
about section for details. The
lie-angle can be between 64 degrees for your Sand Wedge
to 55 degrees for your Driver. Do not confuse the
lie-angle with the loft of your club. Some irons have a
number on them, like 48 or 56, this generally is the
loft-angle. It is the lie-angle that determines the
correct swing plane. The beauty of the
swingplane(TM)
is
that it can be easily adjusted to cover all these
angles. Once assembled, simply slide the yellow strap of
the swingplane(TM) to vary the angle.
